  • Through data voluntarily entered in forms, which are entered into the Operator’s systems.
  • By saving cookies on end devices.

2. Selected Data Protection Methods Used by the Operator

Login and personal data entry areas are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This means that personal data and login details entered on the site are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.

3. Hosting

The Service is hosted (technically maintained) on the operator’s servers: cyberFolks.pl

To ensure technical reliability, the hosting company maintains server-level logs. The following may be recorded:

  • resources specified by URL (addresses of requested resources – pages, files),
  • time of inquiry,
  • time of sending the response,
  • client station name – identification performed by the HTTP protocol,
  • information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction,
  • the URL of the page previously visited by the user (referer link) – if the access to the Service was made via a link,
  • information about the user’s browser,
  • information about the IP address,
  • diagnostic information related to the process of self-ordering services through registrars on the website,
  • information related to handling email directed to the Operator and sent by the Operator.

4. Your Rights and Additional Information on How Data is Used

In certain situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary to perform the contract concluded with you or to fulfill the obligations incumbent on the Administrator. This applies to such groups of recipients:

  • persons authorized by us, employees and collaborators who must have access to personal data to perform their duties,
  • hosting company,
  • companies handling mailings,
  • companies handling SMS messages,
  • companies with which the Administrator cooperates in terms of its own marketing,
  • couriers,
  • insurers,
  • law firms and debt collectors,
  • banks,
  • payment operators,
  • public authorities.

Your personal data processed by the Administrator no longer than necessary to perform related activities specified by separate regulations (e.g., on accounting). Regarding marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.

You have the right to request from the Administrator:

  • access to your personal data,
  • their rectification,
  • deletion,
  • processing restrictions,
  • and data portability.

You have the right to object to the processing indicated in point 3.2 regarding the processing of personal data to perform the legally justified interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling. However, the right to object cannot be exercised if there are valid legally justified grounds for processing, overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular establishing, investigating or defending claims.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to operate the Service.

Actions consisting of automated decision making, including profiling, may be taken towards you to provide services under the concluded contract and for the Administrator to conduct direct marketing.

Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of personal data protection regulations. This means that we do not send them outside the European Union.

5. Information in Forms

The Service collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if provided.

The Service may save information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).

The Service, in some cases, may save information facilitating the linking of data in the form with the e-mail address of the user filling in the form. In this case, the user’s e-mail address appears inside the url address of the page containing the form.

Data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a specific form, e.g. to handle a service request or commercial contact, service registration, etc. Each time the context and description of the form clearly informs what it is for.

6. Administrator’s Logs

Information about user behavior on the website may be subject to logging. This data is used to administer the site.

7. Important Marketing Techniques

The operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The operator does not provide personal data to the operator of this service, only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. Regarding information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information derived from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

The operator uses remarketing techniques that allow matching advertising messages to user behavior on the site, which may give the illusion that the user’s personal data is used to track him, but in practice, no personal data is transferred from the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such activities is enabled cookies.

The operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology means that Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA) knows that a person registered there uses the Service. In this case, it is based on data for which it is itself the administrator; the Operator does not provide any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.

The operator uses a solution that studies user behavior by creating heat maps and recording behavior on the website. This information is anonymized before being sent to the service operator so that it does not know which individual it relates to. In particular, entered passwords and other personal data are not recorded.

The operator uses a solution that automates the operation of the Service in relation to users, e.g., that can send an email to the user after visiting a specific subpage, provided that he has agreed to receive commercial correspondence from the Operator.

The operator may use profiling within the meaning of the personal data protection regulations.

8. Information about Cookies

The service uses cookies.

Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Service User’s end device and are intended for use on the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device and a unique number.

The entity placing cookies on the Service User’s end device and accessing them is the Service operator.
